Here is a brief description of my current position.

 

I’m on a position IT support head in Euroshop company.

 

Euroshop - is a largest mail order company in Russian market.

We have approximately 7 million customers in Russia. Everyday parcels and banderols delivery volume - up to 10000 units.

 

Company is the Russian branch of the Switzerland mail order company.

All management staff is international.

 

My duties cover all questions that regards to information environment of our company.

 

I started work here since time of the company foundation 9 years ago (with first PC). Now we have 7 million customers and large Distribution center that equipped with cut edge equipment. Distribution center includes:

 

-  modern warehouse,

-  packing factory,

-  call center,

-  computer center,

-  account department,

-  order registration department,

-  client complaint department,

-  large volume printing area,

-  design studio,

-          internet cafe;

-           

 

Main task for me here - make computer environment comfortable, department work efficient, business profitable. Everything, that possible to reach on the basement of reliable and smart computer system.

 

Currently, when we have a strong competition on the market we use only high professional solutions from best teams in Russia and from abroad.

 

Australian software Development Company "AREL Systems" implemented warehouse computer and packing factory information system “AToMS” (Arel Trade operatons Management System). I was involved in implementation and localization steps and work now very close with Australian developer staff. Now we work with task of integration of “AtoMS” and all range of our operations.

 

      All relations with our western partners, that regards to information technologies is my task.

 

I have a good experience and know what is the real company information environment. I understand environment from small details to whole system view.

  • Acceptance of decisions at the choice of the computer engineering necessary for development of information system of the company.
  • Buying new hardware, software licenses. (selection criteria, dealing with vendors).
  • Interaction with third-party service providers (agreements, superintendence and quality control).

  • “Hot support” and expert consulting for the abroad company branches staff. (phone lines and email).
  • Implementation, support and maintenance of the industrial computer equipment (high-speed scanners - Photomatrix - 5000, Kodak 3500; 15 industrial linear - matrix printers Mannesmann Tally 2170/691/6140 etc.) – troubleshooting and service companies interaction.
  • Large volume printing area support (300.000 forms/day – includes mail parcels Post forms, advertisement forms personalization).
  • Participation in development and implementation of a special company form processing system (scanning/storage/retrieval).
  • Implementation of “AToMS” (Arel Trade operations Management System). Team-work with developers.

Experience of fast elimination of refusals, maintenance of trouble-free work of information system. Wide and strong experience in remote and on-site “hot” support of the international company staff.

I have an ability to concentrate on final result and do not forget about small details.
